CosmoTek.net connects to
Sprint, Cable & Wireless, UUNet, and
BellSouth.net via multiple T-3 lines.
CosmoTek.net's current aggregate bandwidth is
180Mb/s in our Deerfield Beach Datacenter. The
Datacenter has the capability of increasing to a
full OC-12 (622Mb/s). If one of our carriers
should suffer failure we will continue to operate
on the other connections. Maintaining these
connections to multiple carriers virtually
eliminates downtime. In addition to this, our
Datacenter is located on a Sonet Ring (Self
Healing) to the local Telco Central Office. All of
our T-3 connections are connected to our Cisco
7513 Router which runs BGP4 protocol. We have
installed a Cisco 7507 router for redundancy. Our
routers are directly connected to a Cisco Pix
Firewall. This Firewall protects our network from
hackers and Denial of Service (DoS)
attacks.

Backup power for the
Datacenter is provided via APC rackmounted UPS
systems. In case of complete, long-term power
failure our backup generators will power our
Datacenter. Our colocation area is equipped with
seperate power (entirely different electrical feed
from Power Company) and a seperate HVAC (Air
Conditioning) system.
CosmoTek.net is
committed to offering high reliability and we
backup this up with a 99.99% end-to-end network
SLA (Service Level Agreement). That means are
network is guaranteed not to be down for more than
53 minutes during the whole
year!
